Omni Track Design.

A unique track design allows four individual sensor gimbals to be independently placed in nearly any configuration. Popular uses of SurroundVideo Omni IP megapixel cameras are to cover the intersection of hallways or to provide a 270° view at the corner of a building.

Installation is literally a snap, since each gimbal is magnetically set in place, making it easier to arrange a configuration around the 77-placement-point omni track during the installation process.

Remote Focus.

The new SurroundVideo Omni G2 can be installed without locally adjusting the focus of each sensor. Remote focus can be controlled through the camera webpage. Just click “short range focus” or “full range focus” to get a clear image.

3-Axis Gimbals.

SurroundVideo Omni G2 utilizes the same maneuverable 3-axis gimbal architecture as MicroDome® G2, allowing for an improved range of motion when positioning each of the four sensors.

Interchangeable Lenses.

The Remote Focus mechanism on SurroundVideo Omni G2 has been designed separate from the lenses, allowing users to swap lenses easily from a choice of multiple lens options ranging from 2.1mm to 16mm.

Versatility Like No Other.

A single SurroundVideo Omni series camera can replace multiple single sensor cameras with astonishing effectiveness, thanks to the accumulation of its 70+ possible sensor placements and multiple lens options. Four common arrangements of SurroundVideo Omni series cameras are the hallway intersection, 270° corner view, assembly line view, and a 360° parking lot application, but in actuality, the configuration possibilities are left only to the imagination.

Hallway Intersection

When dealing with a hallway intersection, only a single SurroundVideo Omni series camea is needed to cover all four hallway lengths with the use of four telephoto lenses. This is where the ability to choose different lenses to provide the best possible image quality and pixel density is key.

270° Corner View

Another great example of the versatility of the SurroundVideo® Omni is the corner layout. Configuring the camera’s 4 sensors in the corner layout will provide a seamless 270° field of view as well as a view looking directly underneath the camera. No other camera can provide this level of coverage on a building corner.

Assembly Line View

The SurroundVideo® Omni series multi-sensor cameras are customizable beyond the standard 180° and 360° configurations. For example, installing the SurroundVideo Omni on an assembly line by using two standard lenses directly below the Omni and two telephoto lenses on the sides, will capture the furthest reaches of the assembly line. This will allow for a more comprehensive view, and reduce the camera count from four standard cameras to one SurroundVideo Omni camera.

360° Parking Lot

SurroundVideo Omni series cameras have additional leverage when used in a 360° layout over a standard 360° panoramic camera.

Faster Frame Rates.**

SurroundVideo Omni G2 is equipped with a more powerful sensor board that has double the frame rate speed of the previous model, for a greater boost in performance as well as functionality.

MegaDynamic® Wide Dynamic Range (WDR)

12MP SurroundVideo Omni series cameras feature WDR to produce clear images in extremely challenging lighting conditions. Arecont Vision’s WDR technology delivers a dynamic range of up to 100db at full resolution, without lowering frame rates. WDR maximizes the amount of detail in both bright and dark areas of a scene. The WDR performance of SurroundVideo Omni series IP megapixel cameras represents up to a 50dB improvement (300x) in dynamic range compared to non-WDR cameras.

Enhanced Low Light Performance

As part of their superior True Day/Night operation, SurroundVideo Omni series cameras include low-light enhancing technology with a mechanical IR (infrared) cut filter, pixel binning and adaptive noise-cancellation. Day/Night capability automatically switches from color to black/white operation to increase sensitivity and image clarity at night or in unlit spaces.

Ultra Low Profile Design

At only 3.1 inches high, the SurroundVideo Omni series cameras maintain a low profile for more discrete surveillance with a specialized dome and housing designed for a lower center of installation.

Impact and Weather-Resistant Housing

SurroundVideo Omni is IK-10 impact resistant and IP66 environmental rated against dust and water, making it strongly suitable for outdoor installations.
